So I got so distracted looking at the fish that I let go for a second, then when the fish moved I took a step to follow it...then remembered that I don't let go yet and grabbed the rail again. But really, even if I don't believe yet, Mom says I took a step.

First Peanut Butter and Jelly

GrandMinna's here! She brought lunch to all of us working out on the tree so we all came in to take a break and cool off for a bit. Kelsea decided to share her sandwich with me (even though I already ate all my lunch) which was very nice of her. It's my very first PB & J!

11 months

I am eleven months old today! I'm about to outgrow these adorable cowboy pajamas so Mom brought me outside for sunset pictures...

I'm not signing much, choosing instead to vocalize my desires. I will wave Bye, and can say Bye and Emma. Actually talking about the dog and her comings and goings is one of my very favorite pastimes. I've also taken it upon myself to make sure she never goes hungry by always giving her the first taste of anything I am served. I'm standing and cruising, and just starting to let go and stand alone, or get up from sitting to a stand, but no free steps yet. I've got six teeth (four fully in and two just arriving)...my favorite food right now is Chickpea Fresca, a pasta dish with basil pesto, chickpeas, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes and broccoli. Oh, and I love green smoothies (apple,banana and spinach) If I hear the blender I boogie into the kitchen and demand a taste! My favorite toys right now are things that can stack and nest. I'm still nursing, still hanging out in the mei tai (unless I pull Mom's hair) still taking two naps a day.

Here I am, I'm in the dryer! I can climb up and make the most amazing banging noises from inside!

Gone Raw

Weird lunch. Mom's been on this raw food kick since she heard Jenna speak and is trying to get us in on it too... I guess I'll try the cucumber...

Sometimes after I wake up to nurse at night I'll just want to stay with my Mommy. And she lets me, because she loves me so and can't believe how quickly I am growing. So quiet cuddly times are savored

because they are so brief!
