Ugh!

We really tried to avoid getting the sinus funk over here, but it came anyways! Now everybody is sick, even me. Daddy is home and doesn't feel good either so he understands I just want to be cuddled all the time.

I'm four months old today!

I am four months old today! I can roll both ways, goo at Mom and Dad, hold my rattle in my hand and have just started to do the superman (arms out chest off ground). I love nursing, looking at that funny baby in the mirror and baby massage. I mostly sleep through the night, down at 7, late feed between 9 and 11, the sleep through til 7am. But sometimes I get hungry and wake up more, Mom says that's okay too. I went for my checkup with Dr. Sevilla and he thought I was making great progress with my muscle tone. I weighed 13lbs and 8 ounces, and measured in the 90th percentile for height!

Early Steps

Today was my assessment with Early Steps for my low tone - I passed with flying colors! I tested ahead of my age for intellectual skills (I can pull a washcloth off my face- that's a 5 month skill!), right on for physical skills, and behind on my adaptive skills, though still within the range of normal. I loved the toys they brought and all of the talking and attention! Mommy was pleased to hear that all that time in the sling and being carried is most likely what helped me to make such good progress and avoid time in physical therapy. The therapists mentioned that I do still show some signs of low tone and might need a little extra help when it comes time for crawling and walking. They showed Mom some exercises to do that will help me to grow stronger, and were all for the starting of massage classes as well. Also if we need their help again they would be happy to come back out because we had so much fun! But for now, I'm looking good and making forward progress.

I CAN ROLL OVER!

I was just relaxing after a busy morning at MOPS

I was playing with Mommy
and then she went to checking her email so I ROLLED OVER! (Back to Belly to the right)
She put me on my back to make sure, so I showed her three times that I can roll!

Jacob better watch out!
